Thanks for joining the conversation where we explore the stories and experiences that shape our world. I am honored today to welcome Julie Ryan, a remarkable psychic, medium and medical into Intuitive. Julie possesses a unique ability to sense medical conditions, facilitate energetic healings and communicate with spirits on both sides of the veil. Her skills extend to scanning animals, access and past lives, and even determining how close someone is to transitioning from this life to the next. She's the author of Angelic intended and apparently some other books we're going to find about out about. Julie's work reveals the profound and serendipitous events that occur as we transition into the next phase of existence. So join me as we explore the realms of medical intuition, the process of dying, mediumship, past lives is something that I really love. This psychic abilities that allow us to connect with our beloved pets. Julie First of all, welcome to the show. A You you threw me for a loop. You surprised me before you even started recording.

Julie Ryan 1:17
Well, I'm just trying to keep it interesting for your research. I mean, I don't want to get bored before we even get going here.

Rich Bennett 1:22
Oh, I could. I don't think I could ever get bored with you. I know I could. I don't get bored with. I actually. I don't think I've ever had a guess I got bored with. Otherwise, my. I'd better not say I was busy, otherwise my internet would have mysteriously went out. But if I do that, my luck. So would that

forget that? So start starting our conversation. Your journey into becoming a medical intuitive and psychic. It's pretty fascinating. Could you share this journey with us?

Julie Ryan 1:55
Sure. I am just a regular gal. I. I'm a mom and a wife and a grandmother and stuff like that. And I'm also a businesswoman, Rich. I have been invented surgical devices that are sold throughout the world. And I founded nine companies in five industries. So I'm a serial entrepreneur and an inventor. And so I say I'm a businesswoman who learned how to do whoa, whoa, and I'm a buffet of psychic biz

because I didn't have dead people chasing me since childhood or my dad. I didn't know it, let alone what I would have done with that information. So, yeah, so I learned how to do all this stuff and I teach people all over the world how to do it as well. In a we didn't mind you.

Rich Bennett 2:43
In a week. In a.

Julie Ryan 2:44
Weekend.

Rich Bennett 2:45
How in the world can you do that in a weekend?

Julie Ryan 2:48
It's a transfer of energy from a really high vibrational level from me to my students. And I have graduates from 14 countries so far. The only prerequisite is you got to speak English. So I don't speak any other languages. Little bit of wee wee CC or k, you know, parquet. That's boring. No K as well. So yeah, it's really a blast. And it's all about the transfer of energy because right spirit vibrates at a really high frequency because it doesn't have the density of a body. And I, you'll find that I speak in analogies a lot because it gives our human minds a frame of reference for all this whirlwind stuff that we talk about. And I like to use the analogy of imagine trying to run an electrical current through a bowl of pudding. It's going to slow it down because of the density of the pudding, and that's how it works with the body. So when we're at a really high vibrational level, that's how we can communicate with channel. We're on the spirit channel, we can communicate right on the Spirit channel with any, any spirit that we want, whether it's attached to a body or not done matter.

Rich Bennett 4:05
Interesting. We met a Well, first of all, a couple of things surprised me already. Number one, you said you're a grandmother. I find that very hard to believe.

Julie Ryan 4:13
My marriage. Thank you.

Rich Bennett 4:15
Okay. Okay.

Julie Ryan 4:17
All married. My husband is ten years older. My oldest stepson is, I think, seven years younger than I am.

Rich Bennett 4:25
Okay.

Julie Ryan 4:26
And he calls me his wicked stepmother.

Rich Bennett 4:28
He's 13.

Julie Ryan 4:29
Yeah, yeah, yeah. God bless. Now.

Rich Bennett 4:33
The other thing you say, a serial entrepreneur.

Julie Ryan 4:36
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 4:38
Nine different businesses.

Julie Ryan 4:39
In five industries.

Rich Bennett 4:42
Wow. How did that come about?

Julie Ryan 4:45
I just had ideas for things and then took money from one company and used it to to start another one and then just kind of kept building on that and. And then I sold my surgical device manufacturing company in 2015, and I thought, okay, now I would still have a couple of companies running, but I have wonderful people running them. And I thought, okay, what am I going to do next? And that's how I got into doing this. Medical intuition and psychic medium step full time. And it's it's such a ball, rich. It's so much fun. I get to meet people from all over the world, hear their stories, you know, help them, maybe even a little teeny tiny bit with Spirit working through me and with me to help facilitate healing. And and it's just been so much fun and continues to be every day.

Rich Bennett 5:39
Oh, I bet I yeah. I mean, I'm always amazed by that stuff, but I have to ask you this because I know if not all of my listeners, one of my listeners are going to message me and say, Well, what was it that she invented the device you were talking about? What was that.

Julie Ryan 5:56
Several surgical devices.

Rich Bennett 5:59
Oh, set.

Julie Ryan 5:59
For orthopaedic surgeries primarily. And and so a couple of them my, my best known ones, best well-known ones. One is an auto transfusion device for total joint surgery, which just means in English that when the patient bleeds, when they get a new hip or a knee or shoulder put in, the bones bleed. And so we collect the my device collects the blood that comes out of the bones, and then we put a filter on it and re infuse the patient's own whole blood back into their body. And that's been sold globally for 30 years. And then my other best known product is called the bass, like the fish basis, and it stands for the big ass suction system. It's it's trademarked rich and it's a locus. It's a device that goes on the floor. And when a shoulder or a knee or a hip is being scoped, they use tons of irrigation fluid and that fluids contaminated is coming out of the body that goes on the floor in the operating room, and they're slipping and falling in it and it flows out the door into the hallway. It's disgusting. So I invented a device that's a big mat that has suction tubing in it, and it collects and contains that fluid and then evacuates it into suction canisters. But may I share you how the name came about?

Rich Bennett 7:31
You get.

Julie Ryan 7:32
To. Okay, so I'm in surgery. I've got some of my team in there. This patient's get scrubbed, you know? I mean, he's out. He's, of course, through anesthesia. And so one of the orthopedic techs looks at me and he said, Lady, this is it. And we're in Nashville. So he's a you know, he's a barber. So he says to me, Lady, this is one bigger suction system. Y'all need to call this take the bass. I said, okay. And we did that. Then I had I only had one hospital throughout all those years. Reg, call me. Well called. Called into, you know, my office and talked to one of my customer service gals and she sent me an email. She said, I think you need to talk to this customer. I said, okay. And he was given her and then me a hard time about Big A suction system. And in order for a trademark to be to be enforceable, you got to ship it via, you know, across state lines. Right? Right. So it's on the label of the box. Well, when hospital supplies especially go into surgery, come in to the receiving dock of a hospital, they take it out of the cardboard and then they take the inner box up to the operating room storage. And it's supposed to help keep down the bacteria and the germs. Right. So there's purchasing guys on the phone with me and he's saying, do you think that's appropriate to send in to our hospital? It was like Sisters of the Poor or something. Oh, gee, you know, it's a Catholic hospital, Right? And he said, do you think it's appropriate to do that? I said, Well, I think it's funny. And he said, Do you think it's appropriate? He's giving me a hard time. So again, I said, Well, I think it's funny. I said, But if you're offended, we can print up a special label just for your hospital. And he burst out laughing and rich, and he said, I just needed to talk to the woman who has the audacity to put that on her label. He said, We have a copy of that of your label on everybody's bulletin board in my purchasing department, because it's so funny. I said, Oh, I was wondering if you had like Sister Mary holy water unpacking boxes and receiving or what what's going on with that? And he laughed.

Rich Bennett 9:45
So, Oh, God, yeah.

Julie Ryan 9:47
You know, you got to have fun because otherwise.

Rich Bennett 9:50
Yeah.

Julie Ryan 9:51
It's just it's too much of a slog, right? So yeah, that big ass section also helped invent. I'm a co-inventor of some other neonatal products and some other devices like that, so it's a really fun career. It was for 30 years.

Rich Bennett 10:08
And I just learned something from all that. Yeah, I didn't know their bones bleed.

Julie Ryan 10:13
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

Rich Bennett 10:14
Bone marrow. No idea. Oh, yeah. Well, a minute. What?

Julie Ryan 10:18
Bone marrow. You know, when they go in, if somebody has cancer and they'll do a they'll go harvest bone marrow, the cells out of the bone marrow. Yeah.

Rich Bennett 10:26
All right. I am real idiot. Then, because I always thought the bone marrow was like. I don't know, because you can eat it. I mean, not from a human, but from. Yeah, animals.

Julie Ryan 10:35
Yeah, that's nutritious. You're right. You're right.

Rich Bennett 10:38
And I didn't realize it was blood.

Julie Ryan 10:39
Yeah, there's blood. And interestingly enough, the bones post-op because they've got the leg tourniquet added during that procedure so that it's not bleeding a lot during the surgery, but they bleed post-op. And so that's where most of the blood in. It's really good quality blood. It's got you know, we filter it in case there are any microscopic particles of bone or anything, but it's their getting their whole blood, their whole blood back, you know, plasma, red cells, white cells, all that. When you get a unit of blood at the hospital, you just get red cells. And it's usually been sitting on the shelf for 30 days or so. So it's not all viable. It's probably maybe 30% viable if you're lucky, because it's been refrigerated for usually a month. But this is your blade it and it goes right back into your body. So it helps patient heal.

Rich Bennett 11:31
How in the world did you get into that stuff.

Julie Ryan 11:35
Right out of the Ohio State University when I graduate. Oh, okay. I went to work for a big hospital supply company and sold hospital supplies and then started my first company at 25.

Rich Bennett 11:49
Wow.

Julie Ryan 11:49
Yeah. And so never looked back.

Rich Bennett 11:53
You are using using a little bit of your invention here. One Kick ass woman.

Julie Ryan 12:00
Well, the funny thing about all this is it was before I knew how to do woo woo. So people say, Well, are you, you know, were you talking to, like, the spirits and beyond to get these ideas? Every inventor, every author, every songwriter, every screenwriter. I mean, we're all getting information from spirit. We're all channeling. That's like official, right? We're all channeling information. Paul McCartney. You know, Paul McCartney woke up with what was it Let It Be, or one of his songs in the middle of the night and wrote it down. The guy doesn't. Still, to this day, doesn't read music.

Rich Bennett 12:39
Oh, yeah. Some of these musicians just amaze me as and even some composer prime example. Look at Beethoven. Yeah. Death and and the stuff that he did.

Julie Ryan 12:50
So I know how well you think about every song that's ever been written and just the songs that they play on the radio. If you took every song that's been played on the radio and they're all different and they're all from different composers, how's that work?

Rich Bennett 13:08
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So interesting. So now you went from doing all that and now that to a medical into which primitive.

Julie Ryan 13:18
About 30 years ago, Rich gave me a book called Anatomy of the Spirit by a woman named Carolyn Mays. And she called herself a medical intuitive. And I thought, What the heck is that? I was in my mid-thirties at the time and I read it, and we didn't have the Internet yet. So I went to a bookstore because I didn't think they'd have much in the library about this. So I went to a bookstore and found a book called Hands of Light by Barbara Brennen. Now, Dr. Brennan, she's the late Dr. Brennan now was a NASA physicist who parlayed very complex quantum physics principles into understandable English from the non scientific mind. That would be me.

Rich Bennett 14:04
That would be me too.

Julie Ryan 14:06
And she used quantum field energy in healing people, helping people heal and so that piqued my interest. So I thought, okay, I want to know more. So I called her school, which at the time was on Long Island, and I said, Do you guys have anybody teaching this stuff where I live? And sure enough, they did. They had a graduate of her class who taught me. And then fast forward 30 years, what took me six years to go through very part time I can do in a weekend. And then we have practice sessions for my classes that are nine times a week, and that's when the skills really develop. But after a weekend, everybody's able to do all this stuff that I do and so it makes it really interesting. And we all have the ability. You're getting information from Spirit all day long. We've all had the experience, Rich, where we think of somebody and then we get a text from or a call or an email. Yeah, we run into them. We say, Oh my gosh, I was just thinking of you and here you are. Well, that's your intuitive ability. We have a gut feeling about something. When we go against that, we always regret it. Yeah, we all have the ability.

Rich Bennett 15:25
And you teach this in a weekend. That's just amazing. It.

Julie Ryan 15:28
It's so much fun. We have a ball. People that do, people that take my class, they say, You keep saying it's so much fun. And I didn't really understand that. But you weren't kidding. It is so much fun now.

Rich Bennett 15:40
Do you do it virtually as well?

Julie Ryan 15:41
Oh, yeah. Everything's virtual.

Rich Bennett 15:43
Yeah. Oh, okay.

Julie Ryan 15:45
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 15:46
So when you say a weekend, how how long each day?

Julie Ryan 15:50
Well, before I do, I'm going to do a training in May, May 18th and 19th, and it's going to be Saturday and Sunday. So it's like 9 to 5 on Saturday with lunch breaks and potty breaks and that kind of thing. And then on Sunday, I think it goes 9 to 3.

Rich Bennett 16:08
Easter. That's it.

Julie Ryan 16:09
That's it. And then, as I mentioned, there are practice groups nine times a week that come with the class for free for as long as I'm alive.

Rich Bennett 16:17
Right.

Julie Ryan 16:18
And that's when those skills really ramp up.

Rich Bennett 16:22
Oh, this. I can't wait to tell my sister about this. Yeah. Hi. This is something I might have to stop working weekends just to take your class now. Yeah, because this stuff is always amazed me, and it just.

I'm sensing stuff all the time. Yeah, but I don't know what to do with it. I just like what I do.

Julie Ryan 16:43
What's an example?

Rich Bennett 16:45
There's. There's plenty of times where I'll come home or even to our Lions Club clubhouse and I can like, I can sense my brother there I can smelling Yeah. You know, which is a good feeling. I have the other building where I record at. I've had three separate people tell me every time they've been in there they felt a presence. Of course, I said it was probably just my brother messing with me or something, but they, they don't think it's him. They think it's somebody different. And we've been sitting there having our meetings and it never fails. It's like right around 730 in the evening.

Julie Ryan 17:24
Somebody named Marvin

Marvin, somebody named Marvin. And we can explore that more if you want. But yeah, it's seven eight. Marvin, What's your brother's name?

Rich Bennett 17:35
My brother's name is Terry.

Julie Ryan 17:37
It's not Terry. It's Marvin.

Rich Bennett 17:39
Charles. Yeah. I wonder if that may have been Mel. We had a gentleman in the club called. We always called him Mel. I don't know if Marvin was his, but she on the other side of our wall is football, too. Yeah. So it could have been somebody from football. Yeah, A yeah. Oh, yeah. It's pretty neat. And the first lady that came there and I didn't realize it, you know, she was a medium and she told me she sensed a presence there. So she said, the friend of hers, Dan, he's got what he called the spirit boxes. Yeah. Afterwards. Now he couldn't get into the building. Yeah, but he picked up different voices around the building.

Julie Ryan 18:19
Yeah, not necessary. He did all with your head.

Rich Bennett 18:22
Well, this is something I know we're going off topic a little bit here. Well, maybe not. This is something I always tell people, because when somebody passes, people get upset and people tend to hang on to objects from them. Me, on the other hand, and I used to be that way, but me on the other hand, as I, I don't need the objects because I have the memories here. And the greatest thing I love about it is I think a lot of this has to do with me trying to, you know, get away from all the negativity stuff. I don't watch the news or anything like that. So you're not dreaming that stuff. And I'm always I see my parents, I see my brother, even our first daughter, you know, in my dreams. To me, that is that's the connection right there.

Julie Ryan 19:16
Yeah, that's true. And furniture and other objects do hold the energy of that person. So it's interesting when somebody has a piece of furniture and they'll say, it's just feels weird in here since I've read the furniture in and we can clear that person's energy out of their furniture. But it's way more fun, I think, to to explore what's the deal with the person, where did they have it? I mean, we can get where the address was, where was we can get when it was what the person's name was. And then we can corroborate all that stuff with historic documents and census records and things like that. And then I always say, you can't make this stuff up. I mean, no. Yeah, it's.

Rich Bennett 20:01
Why I would love that stuff. Yeah, I, my wife and I, we went to a was I think it was last year, last April too in Boonsboro. You know the author Nora Roberts. Sure. Yeah. Okay. Well, this is a hotel she owns over in. Yeah. Which it's historic. So we were there in our last day there. We went down for breakfast. I'm the only guy in the place and all these women are talking about and I forget the lady's name, but talking about this lady that's always up in the library. I said, Who is this you're all talking about? They said, Well, didn't you read Nora's trilogy? I was like, Look, I'll be honest with you, I don't read books like that. My wife does. Yeah, but yeah, I do. Well, then they told me that it's a spirit that lives there

and. And the one lady said her husband was in the library, and the spirit shut the door and wouldn't let him out. And he hasn't been back since. And my first thing was, I wish I would have known this the last night because I would have gone in that library and had my equipment ready because I just wanted to talk to talk to the spirit. They're like, What? I said, I want to find out why she's here. What is it? That's. Yeah, What is she looking for? Right? I know I can't do that, you know? I mean, you know, you can but not hear their voice, because to me, that would be the ultimate podcast.

Julie Ryan 21:34
But you can hear their voice, you'll hear it.

Rich Bennett 21:37
It's not going to pick up on the mic.

Julie Ryan 21:39
Well, I hear it in my head, you know.

Rich Bennett 21:42
And it's.

Julie Ryan 21:43
Telepathic. And there's a device called it electronic voice. It's called EVP, EVP, TV.

Rich Bennett 21:50
Voice.

Julie Ryan 21:50
Phenomenon. And I have a graduate that is really an expert on that. And it's amazing how it sounds like the person's voice. When she recorded the Spirit, her son died when he was little, five or four or five or something like that. And, and whenever she does a recording with him, when she has a conversation with him, when she's recording it, you know, you can hear his little voice saying, Hi, Mommy. And it's always the same. And it's just voice how it sounded when he passed. May I tell you a quick story about something that happened to me in Austin?

Rich Bennett 22:27
Absolutely.

Julie Ryan 22:28
I was down there lecturing for a business conference and and so my friend said, well, go to the Driskill Hotel. It's a historic hotel and go for. Yeah. Have you been there?

Rich Bennett 22:42
No, I've never been there, but I've heard you've.

Julie Ryan 22:43
Heard of it, and it's supposed to be really haunted. I didn't know that before I went, but I was oh, I was having lunch and I was in their cafe, and I was reading the history of the place in the menu. And Colonel Driscoll made his fortune off of selling beef to the Confederate Army during the Civil War. So I finish. And, oh, in the in the description about the hotel, it says that they used to have visiting psychics that would come to their spas in the 1800s and early 1900s. I thought, Oh, that's wow. So I went to the concierge after lunch and I said, May I have a tour of the hotel? And she said, Sure. She said, But, you know, it's haunted. And I said, Cool, I'm a psychic. I'll let you know if I see anything. It's she said, okay. Meanwhile, there's this lifesize portrait, oil portrait of Colonel Driscoll in the lobby. They have the the staircase that you go up a set of stairs and then it bifurcates. And you can go up both sides to the steps. And he's right in the middle. So this cute little bellman, he may have been 20 rich. He's taken me on a tour, and that's where LBJ used to watch the election returns. And that's where his date, his first date with his wife, Lady Bird Johnson, was President Johnson, the late President Lyndon Johnson. So anyways, so we're in this one ballroom. Oh, before that, we're in kind of this mezzanine where all these ballrooms are around the perimeter and I'm smelling cigar smoke and I'm thinking, there is no way they're going to let somebody smoke in this historic hotel or any hotel for that matter, let alone a cigar. And I turned my radar on. I turn it on and off in a nanosecond, and there's Colonel Driscoll's spirit walking through this mezzanine, looking exactly like he looked in the portrait on the floor below. And I thought, Oh, this is going to be fun. So we go into this one ballroom and on all the walls, there are eight of these massive gold leaf mirrors. And at the top of the mirror there were wooden. And at the top of the mirror was a cameo that was carved into the mirror of a woman's figure, a woman's head, like a cameo piece of jewelry. And so I said to the little bellman, I said, What do you know about these mirrors? And he said, Well, we think that they came from Emperor Maximilian's Palace and in Mexico City. And I'm thinking, okay, I'm not familiar with Emperor Maximilian, but sounds good. And I said, Well, is who do you think the woman is? And he said, Well, we think it's his wife, Carlotta. And I hear in my head, Rich, that's not Carlotta. That's his girlfriend. Lucinda, his mistress. That's his mistress, Lucinda. So I said, Do you know anything about it? Lucinda? And he said, No. And so he's going on and telling me about the room and the stuff that's happened in there. Meantime, I'm talking. I'm forgetting Carlotta and Lucinda spirits. So they come in above them. Oh, yeah, both of them. I thought, What the heck, Let's just cut to the chase. I'm a businesswoman. I want to know who they come in rags. They got their ball gowns on. They got there. So, you know, big hoop skirt, ball gowns, jewels, tiaras, the whole nine yards. And I said, and they looked like they were the best of friends. And I said, Ladies, who's whose portrait is that? Who's cameo is that up on those mirrors? And Lucinda said, It's me. Okay, fine. So fast forward. I leave the hotel, I stop at a Trader Joe's to pick up some snacks or something, and I'm greeted in the parking lot by this very friendly woman who says who says, Isn't it a beautiful day? And I said, Yes, I'm visiting. She said, Well, I'm on the Austin Historical Society, Welcome to town. I said, Thanks. I just had lunch in the Driscoll Hotel. And she said, Well, you know, it's really haunted. And I said, Yeah, you know, I'm a psychic. And I saw a bunch of stuff. Long story short, we're standing in the parking lot of Trader Joe's. She tells me she's a book publisher. There's a book Go that's just gone to press about the Driscoll Hotel and she's asking me if if I would write an afterword about my experiences there and yeah, she said, the only thing is I need it within two days because it's scheduled to be printed by Wow. Next day I give my talk, I'm flyin home back to Birmingham. I write up what had happened on the plane, come home, go in my office, and just for kicks. I looked up Emperor Maximilian. Carlotta. Lucinda. There's all this information, Rich, about Emperor Maximilian and his wife, Carlotta, and his mistress, Lucinda.

So you can't make this stuff up, and it didn't get published. And so my afterword is in the back of this book on the Driscoll Hotel.

Rich Bennett 27:49
But nobody knew about Lucinda.

Julie Ryan 27:50
No, nobody ever heard of Lucinda. So I think to your point earlier that they want us to know information. Perhaps I was the one to get Lucinda. The publicity that she really always wanted the mistress.

Rich Bennett 28:05
Wow.

Julie Ryan 28:06
Yeah. And that fun. I have lots of stories like that.

Rich Bennett 28:10
I wonder if Carlotta knew about her.

Julie Ryan 28:11
Oh, yeah, absolutely. They did. Yeah. Yeah. Like Diane and, you know Camilla. Yeah. Prince Charles. Yeah, they all know. Oh, it's been going on since the beginning of time with those aristocrats.

Rich Bennett 28:26
So that's stories like. That's not in your one book, is it? Angelic.

Julie Ryan 28:31
Angelic attendance is about what happens as somebody is dying, okay? Because people are so afraid. Yeah. Of death and dying. And I find story on that. May I share how that came about?

Rich Bennett 28:45
Of course.

Julie Ryan 28:46
All right. I am. I am.

Rich Bennett 28:48
I love these through.

Julie Ryan 28:49
High now they're fun. I met my mentors and she was doing a healing on me and energetic healing on me. And when that's happening, my deceased loved one's spirits are on either side of a table that I'm laying on face up. Even my deceased dog, Katie, which was half German shepherd, half Kishan. She's there in her little paws, her up on the other side of the table. And one day, Rich, this, the spirit of this dead pope shows up in his whole pope outfit.

Rich Bennett 29:22
A pope?

Julie Ryan 29:23
Yeah. And I said to him, You know, he's got that pope hat on and Shepherds Rod and the whole nine yards. And so I said to him, Well, who are you? And he said, I'm Pope Clement. Or he said, I'm Clement. And I said, I never heard of Pope Clement. And he said, Well, yeah, I was number six. And he was kind of chuckling. And I said, okay, how may I help you? And he said, You're supposed to teach the world what happens when somebody dies. And I said, I'm not doing that. I'm a businesswoman. People all think I'm nuts. And he said, Yeah, yeah, yeah, just get on with it, you know? You know what goes on. You can see it, You can talk to the spirits, right? People are so afraid because it's been bastardized over the millennia. And here's here's what I say. People are afraid they're either going to fly or they're going to fry. You know, they don't know what's going to happen. And he said, it's nonsense. It's glorious. You know, there's no reason to fear this. And I said, Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. By we're not going there. So, rich, you know, arguing with this dead person.

Rich Bennett 30:36
With a pope, with.

Julie Ryan 30:37
A pope. And and that's a lot for me because I had 12 years of Catholic school. So, you know, this is good Catholic girl arguing with the pope. So I got in the car to go home and just for kicks, I did a search on Pope Clement, the sixth. Well, come to find out, this guy was in office during the Black Plague when two thirds of Europe died. And he's best known for his prayers for the dying and his prayers for the dead. And I'm thinking, okay, I can't make that up. Right. And so he prodded me for the next few years because I was scared to death. I thought, I'm I live in Alabama. I'm a met on horseback with white hoods on their heads burning across my front yard. And I've never I've never had that happen. I mean, in my book, angelic attendance is given as a funeral gift to families. It's given to families by many, many churches and synagogues of all denominations around the country, to families that come in to plan a funeral or or have a loved one at the end of their lives. And it's what happens as we're dying, how we're surrounded by angels in the spirits of deceased loved ones and pets. And so anybody that's listening to this, if you'd like a free copy of my book, Angelic attendance, it will change your life will change the life of your loved ones, because we're all going to lose loved ones and we're all going to be in that situation eventually. Just go to Julie Ryan gift dot com Julie Ryan gift dot com and just say hey I heard you on Rich's show. I'd love a copy of your book and we'll send you a free copy.

Rich Bennett 32:21
It's my I've well I didn't always believe this

I, I always say to me you don't start living until you pass

and I've, I've, I believe that ever I want to say after we lost our first daughter. Yeah. And I just for some reason I just always said that because I think as you do, Piers, you don't have all the negativity like you do here. And God knows we have too much of it.

Julie Ryan 32:59
Well, God bless you. I'm so sorry about your daughter. I can't even imagine what you guys have been through going through that and the pain that you've been through and I'm sure still have. And yet at the same time, I believe when we know that there's nothing to be afraid of, everybody goes to heaven. There was a movie out in the eighties, all dogs go to heaven. Will all people go to heaven, too? And when we know that, I think it helps us live a more joyful life and a life of purpose when we know there really isn't anything to fear. Because most of us that have been raised, especially in Western cultures, were afraid. You know, we've been taught, Boy, you better do what I say, regardless of who the person is, whether it be a government or a religion or whomever, or you're going to burn in hell or you're going to you know, you're you're going to suffer for the rest of eternity. It doesn't happen. It's it's been used to control the masses with fear, which is the best way to control people. Look at the pandemic. Oh, my goodness.

Rich Bennett 34:12
Oh, yeah.

Julie Ryan 34:13
People did just crazy stuff. They would wash their grocery store bags when they got home before they put them on the counter and just nutty things.

Rich Bennett 34:23
And funny how they're not doing it now.

Julie Ryan 34:25
Yeah, Interesting. Yeah. Well, or or you walk into a restaurant, you got to wear your mask till you get to the table. And then you take your mask off while you're the same air. Who cares? Yeah. Crazy.

Rich Bennett 34:38
Oh, I know. So what, you write what for? Books, right?

Julie Ryan 34:43
I've written. I'm working on my seventh house. So we have two grown up books, and we have four children's books.

Rich Bennett 34:51
Four children's books?

Julie Ryan 34:52
Yes.

Rich Bennett 34:53
All right. What's the second grown up book?

Julie Ryan 34:55
Second grown up book is called The Two Minute Rule.

Rich Bennett 34:59
And what is that about?

Julie Ryan 35:00
Two minute rule is about how to keep from going into fight or flight when we're in fear, because most fears are irrational, they're fake news, they're not real. But the body doesn't know any differently between what's a real fear and what's a fake fear. So we go into fight or flight, and when we're in fight or flight, we get in it. We get a physiological response, we release cortisol, makes our blood pressure go up, makes our heart rate go up, makes the blood drain from our brains. We lose clarity. We think can't think clearly right. And we may be in fight or flight because we're running late for a doctor's appointment. Well, the only kind of fear that we really need to go into fight or flight about is called irrational fear when we're in jeopardy of being injured or killed. So the two minute rule goes like this. Any thought that comes in that feels badly is always based in fear. Rich Right. And the key is, is to be able to discern between what's a real fear and what's fake fear. 99.9% of fear is fake.

Rich Bennett 36:07
Interesting.

Julie Ryan 36:08
Anger, jealousy, boredom, grief, all of that. But we think it's going to kill us or harm us physically and it's not. So what we do is when we have a thought that feels badly, we just ask in a nanosecond in our heads or loud, is this going to kill me in the next 2 minutes? It's a yes or no answer. The answer's yes. That's a rational fear. Get out of the road before the truck runs you over. That can hurt you or kill you. If the answer's no, I'm running late for a doctor's appointment. Oh, my God. You know how our thoughts go with. Well, I won't be able to get back in there for six months. And if I don't go get back in there, then something may really be wrong with me. And if it's really wrong with me, then it might be able to.

Rich Bennett 36:50
Anxiety kicks a la.

Julie Ryan 36:51
La la and we make all that up, so we want to nip that in the bud, yes or no answer. So it's going to kill me in the next 2 minutes? Yes. Change the conditions now. You know it's fake. And once you know something's a fake fear, it doesn't have the power over you anymore.

Rich Bennett 37:08
So this book sounds like it would be an excellent book for, especially for people going through anxiety and depression. Anxiety. Yeah.

Julie Ryan 37:16
Exactly.

Rich Bennett 37:17
Okay. Yeah. And that's on your website.

Julie Ryan 37:20
It gets anywhere books are sold. And then I have a children's version and it's called Angel Messages for Truth, The two minute Rule. But instead of saying, Well, this kill me in the next 2 minutes with little kids, I'll say, Well, this heart, well, this hurt me in the next couple of minutes. And they get this. The little kids.

Rich Bennett 37:40
Yeah. Oh, yes.

Julie Ryan 37:41
Right away. And and it's such an amazing problem solving skill for them. Right. And the books are illustrated so three year olds understand it and that colors are beautiful and it's angels telling the story. There's a different angel on each page, all different hair, colors and ethnicity, kids. And, you know, look, some have red hair, brown hair, some are brown skinned, some are whatever. And it's really fun. So little children get this, too.

Rich Bennett 38:14
I bet that would be great for like your pre-K and even your daycares. Yeah, Because as kids go into school.

Julie Ryan 38:24
Right.

Rich Bennett 38:26
Now, and especially for the reading, we talked about this not too long ago because some might mention maybe we should get books for high school students that are having problems reading. And one of our members said, no, we need to get books for the young kids so we can start teaching them now. Right. And we actually sponsor a young children's author. And that's what she did. She we, we bought I think we bought like, I don't even know, $500 worth of her children's books. And she took them to the one day care, read them to the kids. And it's easy for the kids to read. Yeah. And I think that's I love that. That's a great that's a.

Julie Ryan 39:09
Great donate a bunch of them to you if you'd like. And I also will sell you if you want more than I'll Santa my cost so.

Rich Bennett 39:16
Oh, God, you're a sweetheart. That's sweet We love this is a new mission that our Lions Club is taking. We want to help the young kids to be able to read. Yeah. And teach them a lot of stuff. And the two minute rule is perfect because kids nowadays are going through so much anxiety and depression. Yeah.

Julie Ryan 39:40
But it teaches them problem solving skills. They have recently said to me, I taught my first grader the two minute rule and she said he got in the car the other day when I picked him up from school and he said, Mommy, I used the two minute rule today. Oh, she said, You did? Well, tell me about it. And he said, Well, I was on the playground and I was playing with his ball. And this kid came and took my ball. And she said, Well, okay, so what happened next? And he said, I got really mad. And then I thought, Is this going to hurt me in 2 minutes? And I thought, No. And she said, So what did you do? And he said, I went over and I talked to this boy and I said, Can we play with the ball together? And this boy said, Yes. And and he told his mom. He said, I feel like I have a new friend now. Oh, that's a first grader. They get this rich. Get it.

Rich Bennett 40:33
You do.

Julie Ryan 40:34
And little children are still very tuned in with their intuition because we all come in with that. And we talked about that earlier. And so how the children's books, the Angel Messages series, there's four of them, and they're beautifully illustrated pitch picture books, and they're like ten pages or 12 pages or something, you know, and there's maybe a sentence or two on each page. And I had so many moms and grandmothers over the years say, Can you please write a children's book so that I can explain to my child how he knows information about my deceased grandfather, who my child tells me comes visit him at night in his room and plays trains with him, and he knows information that there's no way he could know because my grandfather died before my child was born number one. I have had moms say, Can you please write a book so I can explain to my child how they know information about past lives, including the data that we can corroborate with online historical sources and this child can't read yet. And then lastly, can you please help me explain to my children when somebody dies what's going on, because we'll be at the funeral home for the visitation hours and we'll say, well, honey, grandma is in heaven. And my three year old will say, Well, no, she's not. She's asleep in that box up there. Oh, in the front of the room. You know, we're pointing to the front of the room. Uh huh. So that's how these children's books came about. And they and people over there are so darling.

Rich Bennett 42:13
And here's the thing with that. And I've always said there's a lot of children's books that are out there, can teach adults a lot of things.

Julie Ryan 42:22
Absolutely.

Rich Bennett 42:23
Yeah. And yeah, it's God, I love that.

Julie Ryan 42:27
So let me show you. I know we're not on video, but I can show you and you can describe them. Here's an example of here's the angel. Right. The angel there. And then here's the angel telling a little girl what's going on.

Rich Bennett 42:42
And those are perfect for kids.

Julie Ryan 42:44
Yeah. And the colors are very vibrant. My yeah. Illustrators in Ireland. And she was a fashion designer before she started illustrating children's books.

Rich Bennett 42:55
I was going to say, if you look at the clothes these angels are wearing, it looks like some of the fashion designer.

Julie Ryan 43:01
Yeah. So here's an angel with green hair, you know? I mean, makes it. But. But why not? Okay.

Rich Bennett 43:07
Yes, right. Okay. Many people have green hair now.

Julie Ryan 43:10
Well.

Rich Bennett 43:11
Well, plus, it's an Irish. It's an Irish angel.

Julie Ryan 43:14
That's right. That's it.

Rich Bennett 43:15
Surely. By golly, Elyse. That's right.

Julie Ryan 43:17
That's right.

Rich Bennett 43:18
What was that? Irish or Scottish island, though? So have you written one? Because with, with kids, especially when it. Well, even adults. But when it comes to losing a pet. Yeah. Because pets are family too. Yeah. Have you written one about that in.

Julie Ryan 43:36
Your messages for cats and angel messages. Oh, for dogs, Yes. Yes. So and we talk about in all of those angel messages for kids, for cats, for dogs and for truth are the four different books in this series. But we say in the one let's say, for example, in the dog book, your dog has his spirit and your dog has a body. Your dog, a spirit before it's born, chooses the family that's going to love it and care for it. And and then there's fun stuff in there. Like you can give your dog tricks, You can teach your dog tricks, give it treats, you know, then roll over for treats and things like that.

Rich Bennett 44:15
But then roll over for a treat.

Julie Ryan 44:17
Exactly. And so then there's a page that says, when your dog dies, its spirit stays around you. And oftentimes you can see it even if the grown ups can't. Mhm. So we're validating that child's intuitive ability when in most instances children will shut down that intuitive sense because a grown up has said to them, well honey there really isn't a person there, you don't this imaginary friend of yours doesn't exist. It's not real, but it is real. There's child can see, the spirit can converse with that spirit endure. A teacher or sometimes even friend's little children's friends will say, Well, Johnny, you're just weird. There's nobody there. Or how can you? What are you talking about that you're seeing a fire truck go by. There's no fire truck that's gone by, but little Johnny is seeing a spiritual fire truck or he's right. He's able to access something in non what's called non-local reality or remote viewing or perhaps a past life. And so the first time I heard about this stuff with Past Lives was on an Oprah episode, gosh, decades ago. And there was a little blonde, blue eyed little white boy that was on Oprah show. And he, at the age of three, kept telling his parents that he was in the colored troops army during the Civil War. He gave what his name was. He gave what his dog tag number was. He told him what battles he was in. He told him who his commanding officers were. They were able to corroborate everything online with historic documentation. And this kid couldn't read yet. There was no way he could have known what was going on. So that piqued my interest. And I thought, all right. And then later on, you know, I now I can do that and get get we get information all the time that we can corroborate with historic documentation.

Rich Bennett 46:30
Interesting. Yeah, I

there's so, so, so, so, so, so many things. Someone taught you.

Julie Ryan 46:42
Well I am a buffet of psychic so you know I mean I most people just talk to dead people or they can maybe do medical something or maybe they talk to pets. But once you connect with Spirit, you can do it all. I don't understand why it's siloed. It's kind of like the cardiologist versus the gynecologist versus the whatever ologist. It's all the body, right? Yeah. And it's the same with spirit. You connect with spirit. You can take it anywhere you want.

Rich Bennett 47:08
Actually, with pictures. How do pets convey their messages.

Julie Ryan 47:11
Telepathically as you ask something in your head or heads are like big satellite dishes they receive and they transmit frequencies. Every spirit has a frequency they keep throughout all of their lifetime, whether it be a pet or a human, doesn't matter. And so we just think of them and that tunes our satellite dish head to their frequency like we're tuning in to a radio station or a satellite TV station. And then that frequency opens a two way radio communication, if you will, and you can say something to them aloud or as a thought in your head and they will answer you how you know, that's from Spirit. It's a first thing that pops in your head as fast as you can snap your fingers or before, because time doesn't exist in the spirit world. Time's a human creation. So we're thinking a thought. They've already got our thought and they're answering us back sometimes before we're even done thinking, whatever the thought is.

Rich Bennett 48:16
So with all your

everything that you've done to different people, you know, different people, different spirits that you've communicated with, is there anything that any particular one that you remember where it just brought you to tears in? And when I say tears, I mean tears of joy.

Julie Ryan 48:41
Oh, thousands of them each year. When I heard one this morning, I erm every day talking with clients from all over the world. I heard one this morning, I was working with a woman in Canada and she wanted to talk to her deceased grandmother and so we pulled her up and I said, okay, I see her and it looks like a test kitchen. She said there were a bunch of chefs and the main one that she was talking to is Julia Child and they're, they're doing recipes, but she's telling me we don't need to eat in heaven. So we come up with new recipes and then we send them to chefs and moms and dads and get people.

Rich Bennett 49:24
To.

Julie Ryan 49:24
Dinner in their homes and stuff. We send new recipe ideas down and she showed me that she was sending the recipes, kind of like in a paper airplane format. And she said, we we fly them down and they come in to the chef. If it's a professional chef or a family chef or whatever. And and so my client just was so touched. And I said, Did your grandmother like to cook? And she said, Yeah. And her favorite chef was Julia Child. Oh, wow. So the the other that same client, we were talking with her mother spirit, who's in heaven, and she said, Does my mom have anything she wants me to know? And she said, Yeah, avoid this. Remember? Do remember. She's the mom's spirit. Said, Remember the strawberries? And so I said to my client, Does that mean anything to you? And she she laughed and she said, Yeah, I'm really allergic to strawberries. And she said, I've been craving strawberry jell o. And I said, Well, your mom wants you to remember the strawberries to avoid them.

So another another one not too long ago, which was so funny, and it was a mom's spirit. It reminds me of this with the strawberries and the mom's spirit told her daughter, she said, You need throw out your peanut butter. And she said, Why? The mom said, you need to throw it out. It's no good. And I said to my client, I said, Just go look in your cabinet and check the peanut butter. Well, the expiration date had expired a year previously.

Rich Bennett 51:01
Emily, but my sister and.

Julie Ryan 51:03
So she said, Oh, my goodness, my mom's, you know, paying attention that I don't fix some one of my kids a sandwich with peanut butter. That's over. It's a year over. It's expiration date. And then of just a whole plethora of stories on all my social media, everything that ask Julie Ryan, There are multiple reels that I do a week about. I tell my client, You showing me this truck, or I talk to a client. Well, last night on my show, I have a call in show every Thursday night at eight Eastern and people call in from all over the world and we do a live stream on YouTube as well. And this woman called in to my show last night and her mother was dying. So she wanted to know what phase of transition her mom was in. And that's that configuration of angels and deceased loved ones and pets. And so I told her I think she was in phase nine. And I said, But there's a colleague dog spirit there in the room with your mom and there are horses. And my caller said, Well, the Collies dog's name is Sage. She was my mom's favorite dog. So her spirits there in the room with the mom as the mom's at the end of her life. And she said, I raise horses. My mom's been around horses for many, many years because I race horses and have lots of them. And I said, okay, good. I'd never spoken to this woman before. I didn't know anything about her or her mother. But Spirit's always going to show us things that are going to let us know that it's really, really who we think it is with whom we're conversing.

Rich Bennett 52:46
Speaking of the transition, can you elaborate on the 12 phases of transition? Sure. And what it entails? Sure.

Julie Ryan 52:55
Our spirit is the main part of us rich and the body is inside the spirit. Everything's energy. We learn that fourth grade science class or something, and I was taught and Catholic school that the spirit is someplace in the chest area, and that's not what I perceive what I perceive as similar to all the old masters paintings of saints and angels and Jesus and Buddha and religious figures, where they're depicted with a halo around their head or on their whole body. Well, that's their energy field, that's their spirit. It's their aura. It's all the same thing. The body's inside. So when the body and the spirit are disconnecting because the person is dying, going back to heaven, what happens is the body exits through the top of the head. You may have spoken with or read about near-death experience or others who talk about going through a tunnel. There's a vortex that forms above the head and the spirit exits through the top of the head. That's that funnel or that tunnel that they talk about.

Rich Bennett 54:06
Going to the.

Julie Ryan 54:06
Light answers, But the spirit hangs on to the top of the head and it looks like a bubble to me. It looks like a speech bubble in a cartoon where the character's thoughts or words are and then the person who's the maternal spirit closest to the dying person. So in my case, my mother's deceased. When I die, it will be my mother's spirit who will come in and run the show. If my mother was still alive, it would be my maternal grandmother spirit. If she was still alive, it would be her mother's spirit. It's always on the maternal line and they run the show from the spirit world. They they're the first ones to show up. They bring in the angels. They bring in the other deceased loved ones, spirits and pet spirits. And they really run the show, which was a big surprise to me. I really thought it would be the person's guardian angel, perhaps, or.

Rich Bennett 55:01
Oh.

Julie Ryan 55:03
Well, maybe God's got like, you know, a transportation division of angels. And they send transportation angels down to help people, you know, get to heaven or pirates. I don't know exactly. So as the person gets closer to death, the the deceased paternal spirit closest to that person, either their father or the father's still alive, is going to be their maternal grandfather again, always on the maternal line, they anchor the circle of angels. Now, angels to me, as I mentioned, 12 years of Catholic schools look like they're depicted in the paintings and the statues, right? Big, big wings, you know, barefoot, white gown. ROMO Whole nine yards set. What angels really look like. That's how they look to me because that's how I was taught. They look.

Rich Bennett 55:55
Exactly like.

Julie Ryan 55:57
Somebody in an indigenous culture in the middle of the Amazon may see Angel Energy as a blob of pink energy or something.

Rich Bennett 56:05
Right?

Julie Ryan 56:06
So the angels are there. Many, many spirits, thousands of spirits come and I call them the welcome to Heaven committee. They're like the welcome wagon, ladies. Yes, neighborhood. That's where I got that. This is a welcome to having committee. And they're from all walks of life. They're from all different eras throughout history. So there are people we've known in this lifetime. There are people that we've known in past lives. I can see people from the Renaissance era. I can see cavemen looking people. I can see people in Go-Go, women in Go-Go and Miniskirts from the sixties.

Rich Bennett 56:45
Oh, yeah, These boots are made for walkin.

Julie Ryan 56:47
That's it. That's it. Yes. Sinatra, right? Uh huh. And so then, pet spirits come in and it's all the pets that a person has ever had in their lifetime. Oh, wow. It's really fun. When I see farm animals in the room or like this morning or like the gal that called into my show last night, you know, there were horses and a collie dog among other dogs, but the dog was out front and center and her daughter said that was her favorite dog in her whole life. And its name was Sage. So it gives the family lots of comfort to know, okay, my loved one is surrounded by all these spirits and pets and angels. It's a glorious sight that helps balance the heart wrenching, emotional experience that the family was going through at the end of life. The other thing, two other points that are really interesting about this scenario of events in the 12 faces, by the way, on my website, ask Julie Ryan Tor.com if you click on the 12 Faces tab, there's an illustration of all 12 phases that you can download as a PDF if you have a loved one at the end of their lives, I suggest download it. You can download it for free, put it on your phone, save it on your phone, and then you just ask, What phase is my mom in? What phase is my grandma in? And you'll hear a number. Yeah. And then you can refer to the chart and you'll you'll get a visual of how the angels and everybody's all the spirits are positioned around them. Oh, so two other important points. I think. Number one, there's been university based research which that says that 90% of people at the end of their lives see the spirits of deceased loved ones and pets either in dreams or visions. That's number one. Number two. When my mother died at her funeral mass, there's a prayer set at the end of every Catholic funeral, and it's called in parody. Some. And it talks about the angels and your loved ones will greet you and lead you into paradise. That's right. In paradise. Into paradise. Well, I thought, oh, my gosh, That's what I saw when my mother was dying. And the first time I saw all of this in my mind's eye, when she was dying in 2002. And that's why Pope Clement came in and said, you know what happens? And I've done it several times since. And he said, you know what happens? You need to teach the world about this. So I did some when I was writing the book to find out where did in Paradise some originate. And I learned that it started as a fifth century Gregorian chant. So I have to believe that perhaps it took till the fifth century until people were well educated enough that they could read and write. And certainly some of the most well-educated people were men living in seminaries and in synagogues. And so that's where that originated. Huh. One other point about the 12 phases that I'd like to add, if I may. Yes. Phase nine is where things get really interesting, because up to phase nine, there are more and more spirits that are showing up, more petals. You know, the angels that start out in a circle end up in a horseshoe. Eventually, when that person transitions, they're at a straight line, cross their feet, like, let's say, if if a person's in a bed, right? Phase Nine's interesting because about phase six, there are two extra angels that show up and they're on either side of the spirit bubble, on top of the dying person's head on either side of it. And phase nine is when their wings start to move. And it reminded me of this slow rhythmic movement. And all I could think of was this reminds me of a giant owl flying. And if you've ever seen a video of a giant owl, their wings are silent and they glide through the air and they're just this rhythmic movement. And when I saw that for the first time, Rich with my mom, I thought, Well, this is going to be interesting. I don't know what's going to happen, but I know it's going to help her spirit separate from her body. Well, as the hours went on, that movement of the Angels wings created a vortex above mother's head. I mentioned that earlier, that, wow, that that spirit goes through a vortex. And as that vortex was being created, I could hear I could see it and I could feel that it had an upward pull to it. It reminded me of going through the car wash at the end when they turn the dryers on and it sucks all the water off your car. Oh, okay. It was that kind of upward pull. And I thought, Isn't that interesting? So when I was writing the book, what I researched was Vortex Owls, Wings, Lift.

What I found was there's this phenomenon, aeronautical engineering phenomenon called the wingtip vortex. Really, if you Google that, there are probably hundreds of thousands of references in aeronautical engineering drawings in all kinds of articles, everything that flies, whether it be a jet, a plane, a helicopter, a glider, a bug, a bird, whatever the movement of the wings creates, a vortex that causes lift

up. So what helps that fly? You know, when you're sitting on the wing and you're in a commercial jet and they're changing how they have these little flaps that will come down, go back up, and all of that on the hydraulics, I thought, my goodness, how extraordinary this movement of these angels wings causes this vortex to form that I can see, I can hear, I can feel, and it causes the upward pull to help the spirit and the body evacuate from one another.

Rich Bennett 1:03:14
That is.

Julie Ryan 1:03:15
Wow. So I love it when science catches up with woo woo, woo woo because I think he's been around a lot longer.

Rich Bennett 1:03:22
I have to ask you this. Why do you keep saying woo woo?

Julie Ryan 1:03:25
Because it's fine.

Rich Bennett 1:03:26
I love it. It is. I love it.

Julie Ryan 1:03:28
It's money and spirits, pure joy. It's pure love. We're supposed to have fun when we're doing this stuff. I wonder when I'm working with something that has some deadly disease or they've got metastatic cancer or something. We're laughing because spirit is pure love. Or these. Yeah. Analogies that I get in my mind's eye when I'm working with somebody doing an energetic healing, I may tell you, your elbow looks like whipped cream or something crazy like that, but it's to give you a frame of reference from our human perspective, number one. And number two, when we can envision what I'm describing, it helps integrate the healing into the body. And and there have been times, especially early on, where I'll get something really funny, stem cell energy looks like an amber colored liquidy gel with sparkles in it. And and it reminds me of deputy do hair gel from the sixties and seventies.

Rich Bennett 1:04:22
Believe it or not, I do remember what even though I don't have any hair on my head, I do remember Deputy Do. Yeah.

Julie Ryan 1:04:29
Well, I guess the first time they showed me that and they said Deputy Do. And I said, Seriously, you want me to say Deputy do Why? And they said, Because people your age are going to know what you're talking about. The young people know how to know how to do an Internet search and they can learn it. And it's funny. Yeah. And I said, Well, so what do you want me to But why the funny. And that's when they said, you're supposed to be having fun when you're doing these healings because spirits, pure joy, it's pure love. It's fun.

Rich Bennett 1:05:00
I think you're supposed to be having fun no matter what you.

Julie Ryan 1:05:02
Right. You're right.

Rich Bennett 1:05:04
Have fun all the time. Yeah, it's I always said, you know, I have a goal in life, in this life, and that's to make it to 100. I'm going to be a centurion no matter what, and I'm going to have fun doing it all. The 100 years old you and I are going to be sitting when I'm we're going to be sitting there doing this again. Yeah, well, we're going to do it again beforehand. So I the year.

Julie Ryan 1:05:25
With quite early when we were talking that you don't really enjoy life until you're dead is nonsense.

Rich Bennett 1:05:31
No, I said I think you don't start living in I got Deaf Geraci Tuesdays with Morrie.

Julie Ryan 1:05:38
I read the book.

Rich Bennett 1:05:39
Okay well Oh my God. I saw the movie first and read the book. The book made me cry. But he said that he said, You don't learn that. He said you don't learn how to live until you learn how to die. And now I saw that as a and I just took it a step further. I don't think you I don't think you start living until you die.

Julie Ryan 1:05:58
Well, so what he was talking about was 12 phases of transition. Yeah. There's nothing to be afraid of. You're learning how to die. The body knows how to be born. The body knows how to die. And it's a glorious component. Not that I want to go there any time soon or any, you know, but it's going to be interesting when it happens. And and so I believe why we're why we all incarnate is to live a life of joy and to create.

Rich Bennett 1:06:25
To create a life of joy. Yeah. Oh, yeah. That's another reason I stopped watching the news and everything. Get away from the negativity. Yeah, yeah. Just keep that positive attitude and align yourself with positivity. Yeah. I sit here speaking with you. I just had a vision. You know, you a lot of people ask this question.

I've never asked it, but, you know, if you could have dinner with one person living or dead, who would it be? As you were speaking, I was saying, is that thinking of that as like, oh my God, living I know who I would love to sit down and have dinner with. And that would be you know, I would have a blast just sitting down at dinner, just talk. It would be a long dinner because I know we would be talking for hours and hours. I thought you were. You're just a joy to speak to. I love it.

Julie Ryan 1:07:30
So thank you. Come on down, sweet home Alabama, baby. Come on.

Rich Bennett 1:07:34
Well, hey, now, now that I'm comfortable flying again, I have no problem. Do it. See, when I told you before we started how I went to New Orleans, that's the first time I flew since 1995. My I had a bad experience in 95 when I flew and it was my wife's cousin was getting married. And I look, I look at her. Her cousin is my niece. She is she's adorable. I love her to death. And I met her fiance, a nice guy. It's like they're the perfect couple. I was like, You know what? It's Rebecca. I got to fly. I have to go. And that's why we went down there for a wedding. I was like, I have to go to this wedding. Yeah. And I did it. And Julie the funny thing is, flying was a no problem at all, right? I care if I ever came to features on this trip flying and a second fear because I had a nightmare when I was

probably well, it was after I got out there the Corps had a nightmare that my father and I were in a car. We ran off the side of a bridge and then I woke up. Well, when we got down to New Orleans, because we flew down there Super Bowl Sunday, I found out that we were going to her cousins who lives in Covington, which is a cross that 23 mile long bridge. Yeah. So we had to drive across that Lake Pontchartrain. Yes. Yeah. And drive across coming back again. And I'm like, oh, but yeah, it's I, I was fine with it.

Julie Ryan 1:09:08
And that's the new bridge. The one before the hurricane was. Oh yeah. You felt like you were driving on the water. It was so low to the water.

Rich Bennett 1:09:16
Oh it's still low.

Julie Ryan 1:09:17
But.

Rich Bennett 1:09:18
I'd rather, I'd rather be, I'd rather be low high. I only reason is because when you're high I hate Bugs Bunny. You know, when the thing starts falling, you can jump at right before it. It's like it doesn't work like that for me. But no, I have definitely got to get to Alabama as well.

Julie Ryan 1:09:37
But now, you know, the two minute rule.

Rich Bennett 1:09:39
Yes.

Julie Ryan 1:09:40
Yes. If fly to New Orleans, is it going to kill me in the next 2 minutes? And I love you know, but doesn't count. It doesn't work in this game. It's a yes or no answer. You can't say no. But what if something no, it's is this going to kill you in 2 minutes if you get on that plane to go to New Orleans? No. So, you know, that's a false fear.

Rich Bennett 1:10:02
Yeah, No, it definitely was. I mean, granted, coming back, we did hit one of the mayor pockets and I grabbed the seat in front of me. Hey, it was fine fine. So before I get to my last question, well, two things. Number one, you have to come back on.

Julie Ryan 1:10:17
I would be delighted to.

Rich Bennett 1:10:18
I would love for you to come back on. I definitely want to get Wendy to co-host. I want her to meet you as well, because I just know that that it would be a great conversation as well. But before I get to my last question, is there anything you would like to add?

Julie Ryan 1:10:38
Sure. Anybody again, that wants a free of my book, go to Julie Ryan gift dot com July e r y and g.f. t tor.com and anything that you want to know about, join us in my class. The next one is going to be online and it will be live, but it will be via Zoom on May 18th and 19th, Saturday and Sunday, and then we'll do it in person live in Atlanta in November. All that information and asked Julie Ryan dot com. Oh and my show is we do a live show where people call in from all over the world and ask Julie Ryan. So that's Thursday nights at eight Eastern and just go to Julie ask Julie Ryan show com all this information's online and then we do a YouTube livestream. People will submit questions via the chat. I have my little helpers on there that are monitoring that is sending that over and then all my books, everything you can access, all my shows, you can access all my books, you can schedule an appointment with me and I'll have a whole hour and we can talk about anything and everything you want. Most our sessions we'll do medical and talk to deceased loved ones or do past lives that we could do. You know, all that stuff in one hour, which is a blast and everything said asked Julie Ryan asked Julie Ryan dot com asked Julie Ryan on YouTube asked Julie Ryan on social media everything is asked Julie Ryan.

Rich Bennett 1:12:12
And are you listening? You're probably thinking to yourself when in the world does she even have time? Let me tell you something. This young lady, she knows how to handle time management. She has time. She makes the time and she's having fun at what she's doing. That's you don't need time for that because it's right there. It's just it's magic, right?

Julie Ryan 1:12:37
It is the most fun thing I've ever done. I've never done a company without a business plan before. And people say to me, Well, what's your plan with this business? This ask Julie Ryan, because I don't know. I don't have one. They'll say, Well, what do you mean, your business? Well, I say, I'm being led. I believe it's every morning I say, okay, God, show me what you want me to do. Show me how I can serve, show me how I can help people. And then I get ideas. And then the people I need to show up always show up right when I need them. And I have a wonderful team. So when I started learning this stuff rich 30 years ago, people said to me, Well, what are you going to do it? Why are you doing this? I said, I know. And they said, Well, what are you going to do with it? I said, I don't know. I've just been I just think it's interesting. And here we are all these years later and I'm getting bossed around by a dead pope saying, you got to teach the world what happens when somebody dies.

And he's hilarious. Rich. He always shows up with his hat, pope hat on. And I tell her, and I've learned not to not to argue with them at this point. After all these because he's been around about ten years now. And at one time I said, you know, I know who you are. You don't have to wear the hat, but it looks good, don't you think? Oh, God, okay to do that.

Rich Bennett 1:14:00
So now when somebody asks you what your what your business plan is just on the ask, the pope.

Julie Ryan 1:14:05
Has the pope talk to Clement now, Clement, the six.

Rich Bennett 1:14:09
So how do you even know how many interviews you've had? Not how many people you've interviewed, but how many podcasts have interviewed you?

Julie Ryan 1:14:18
Hundreds.

Rich Bennett 1:14:20
That's okay. Yeah. Good. Oh, this is going to be a good question. You're going to have to put your thinking cap on. Okay. One. So out of all the host that you've talked with, is there anything a host has never asked you that you wish they would have asked you? And if so what would be that question? What would be your answer?

Julie Ryan 1:14:41
Hmm. Interesting. Great. If I I guess the question would be

something about is there a way to get this information distributed in a better way? Is there the especially the what happens when we're dying information, right. Is there a is there another way that I can get the information out there? That's that's just what came into my head. So I guess I'm supposed to ponder that.

Rich Bennett 1:15:21
Yeah. And I don't know if I don't know if there could be a better way.

Julie Ryan 1:15:27
I don't know. I give away thousands of books for free every year and I do interviews and I've had people on my show. We just did. My show was episode 454 last night, so there's lots of them. Our library is pretty big and we get that information out there. And so I just trust I'm being yeah, and the information is coming in on my YouTube channel where we're getting ready to launch. Ask Julie Ryan Spanish. Everything will be really wear soon. In the next couple of months, we plan to do Spanish, French, German, Hindi and Portuguese, and then we'll go from there. So getting all the the interviews and we release an interview show on Tuesdays and then we do the live show on YouTube. It's released Thursday nights because it's live. But then. Right, But then we release it on the podcast channels on Friday morning. So many those shows are being dubbed in these different languages. So that's a new adventure. And I'm and I trust that I'm being led rich as the things become the technology and the wherewithal and and the money to finance all of this because it's expensive.

Rich Bennett 1:16:50
So I know that, you.

Julie Ryan 1:16:52
Know, yeah, they have a team, you know, I have a team of people that help me, that have that I've hired over the years and and I've got to pay them. So but, but I trust everything I need shows up exactly what I need it because I'm saying, okay, show me what you want me to do. That's my morning prayer every morning. Show me how I can serve me what I can do.

Rich Bennett 1:17:15
And the one good thing is you have that one employee that you don't have to pay at all. And that's Pope Clement.

Julie Ryan 1:17:21
Oh, yeah, Yeah, yeah. True.

Rich Bennett 1:17:25
You know what? He's going to come to you later.

Yeah. I need some money.

Julie Ryan 1:17:32
Going to you. The interesting thing about him with the. I did some more research on him during COVID and during the Black Plague. He was no with the Holy See was based in France during that time, during the Black Plague. It wasn't in Rome. And he blessed whatever the main river was, right? I don't know if it was the Rhine or I think of that as in Germany, whatever the main river was, because people were dying so much that they were throwing corpses in the river so that they can be thrown out to sea. So he would bless the river, because back then they felt if you weren't blessed, even after you die, that you would go to hell. And so this is the guy that's telling me that hell doesn't exist and everybody goes to heaven. And I think that's really worth paying attention to that he did that.

Rich Bennett 1:18:25
And I need to find a book about him.

Julie Ryan 1:18:27
Yeah, I looked that up because again, I was led. I get these call them divine downloads. I get information downloaded into my head and I, I think I was doing a blog post actually, somebody had submitted a question. People ask me questions from all over the world. Then I pick one and I answer it every week in my blog and you can read all of those on my website, too. And somebody asked me something about, you know, how did the Black Plague compare to COVID. And I thought, Ma'am, check out what Pope Clement was doing during that and learned a lot. It was interesting.

Rich Bennett 1:19:01
Interesting.

Julie Ryan 1:19:01
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:19:03
Side by side comparison.

Julie Ryan 1:19:04
It's interesting that he's my spirit guide during this global pandemic that we. Yeah. All of years ago.

Rich Bennett 1:19:11
Yeah.

Julie Ryan 1:19:12
Yeah. No Coincidences in life.

Rich Bennett 1:19:16
Hmm.

Thank you, God. You put more ideas into my head. Julie.

Julie, I want to thank you so much, and I cannot wait to talk to you again. And if I ever get down to Alabama, we're going to sit down and have that dinner. I would.

Julie Ryan 1:19:33
Be delighted. And I'll even trade.

Rich Bennett 1:19:36
Oh.

Julie Ryan 1:19:37
You come down and I'll treat.

Rich Bennett 1:19:38
What's the best thing to eat down there?

Julie Ryan 1:19:40
Oh, gosh. Everything. They're known for barbecue. Oh, the the the most important things to a Southerner. Rich. And I'll leave you with this. Here are the five most important things to a Southerner. You're ready. Oh, God, Mama. Manners, football and barbecue. Not necessarily in that order.
