Rick Gerety President and principal agent of the Gerety Insurance Agency formerly known as Rick Gerety + Associates. Gerety earned a BS degree in Marketing from Penn State University and holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).

Rick began working as an independent insurance agent in 1996 and started his own agency from scratch in 1998. For the past 25 years, Gerety Insurance has grown to serve thousands of personal and commercial lines clients in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia. As the President Rick is responsible for the overall day to day operations of Gerety Insurance and instilled in the agency a culture of always providing the very best service to each one of our clients. Gerety is a life long resident of Harford County and is married with two adult age children and a chocolate lab. For over fourteen years he coached soccer and lacrosse at the recreation and travel/club level. He is involved in the community through the Harford County Chamber of Commerce and is a board member for the Mason-Dixon Business Association. He is also the Vice-Chairman for the Board of Directors at Freedom Federal Credit Union and is the Chairman of the Board of Appeals for the town of Bel Air.
